Out of the box the standard 140bhp stock Mazda 1.8 engine gives more than enough performance to excite the road ahead and is available in both RHD and LHD configuration. For the more power-hungry among us, we have a bolt-on turbo kit available to increase the standard Mazda engine - this is our RX-5 250. If forced induction is not the route you want to take, this vehicle can also be fitted with the normally aspirated 2-litre production engine from the Honda Civic Type R K20 engine which bolts to the MX-5 gearbox with an adapter plate. While the RX-5 model is designed to be built from a kit at home due to the amount of time involved in refurbishing the donor components, we can offer the factory build on this vehicle through the "owner donor" program. With the owner donor, you supply all the donor parts for the vehicle all fully refurbished, and we will assemble the vehicle for you. So if you're looking for an RX-5 but don't want to assemble the vehicle, look no further, we have you covered.
